Back in 2004… I released my first all acoustic guitar release. I had no idea what I was doing… I used an 8 Track Mini Disc Recorder. In the background was all kinds of noises from that machine. But I had no idea what I doing engineering-wise as well… it was (the audio) a mess to say the least.
BUT… it was for the longest time my best selling CD! I got more emails and messages concerning this release through the years.
Anyway, due to the audio sonic issues I couldn’t bear listening to this release… but recently, had an idea. I decided to clean up the audio… I have software to get rid of clicks and pops… and sure enough it worked.
THEN… I ran the audio through my new Mastering Software and lo and behold… I started smiling.
A Place Called Home has found new life! It’s going to be released soon on all the digital platforms!
What was once gone… is now back… 🙂
